3 komentar

Some time ago I tried to write about the latest Deepfreeze version 7, but because my computer suddenly blue screen then post about this deepfreeze delayed.
Now I will try to discuss this unique software.
The new version of Deep Freeze from Faronics enterprise, enabling it to freeze the current state of the system. An application can safely recommend the system administrator, who served for a local area network services library, school, internet cafe.

No one will protect your system, such as Deep Freeze. The program is highly integrated with the operating system and record all changes made by users, in a special area designated on your hard disk.

After the restart area record cleaned up, and before the user is presented system is really pure. You can install different programs to run a virus, system settings to change or delete system files and registry entries: after a reboot will evaporate from the changes. To access the control panel software, you need to hold down the Shift key and double click the right mouse button on the Deep Freeze icon in the system tray.

Faronics Deep Freeze helps eliminate workstation damage and downtime by making computer configurations indestructible. Once Deep Freeze is installed on a workstation, any changes made to the computer-regardless of whether they intentionally or evil-is never permanent. Deep Freeze provides immediate immunity from many problems that plague today's computer configuration drift-the inevitable, accidental system misconfiguration, malicious software activity, and incidental system degradation.

Deep Freeze computer really make sure the bullet, even when users have full access to system software and settings. Users can enjoy the experience of computing the pure and infinite, while IT personnel freed from tedious helpdesk requests, constant system maintenance, configuration and ongoing displacement.

Balancing Security with Productivity

Deep Freeze is the only solution that effectively balances workstation security with user productivity. By mapping user and application data to the thawed (unprotected) partition or drive, users can store their documents, pictures, music, etc., while still enjoying the total system consistency that Deep Freeze offers.

Resilience Flexible

Deep Freeze offers flexible scheduling options that enable IT administrators to easily create automated update and maintenance periods. Schedule Deep Freeze for the system and virus definition updates occur from the standard time-either with the Deep Freeze Enterprise Console or using your choice of desktop management solutions to third parties.

Visit the Features page for a complete list of capabilities Deep Freeze and options for the two Windows editions: Standard and Enterprise. Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows Server editions are also available.

Discover how Deep Freeze applies to your environment:

Education

Computers in the educational environment is one of the most difficult to manage and secure IT environment. The number of daily users, limited resources staff in place, and a large number of computers and labs that technology personnel must manage all come together to create an IT 'perfect storm'. IT personnel can not afford to have computer systems down for a period of students using computers in the schools to conduct research and complete the task, instructors need computers to record and organize their grades; administrative staff need their workstations to complete their job functions.

Computer Labs

Deep Freeze allows IT administrators to create bulletproof computer labs that provide computational problem-free for instructors and students. Deep Freeze ensures that students are able to use public access computers with the assurance that their session will be free from accidental system misconfiguration, malicious software activity, and incidental system degradation. Personal information is never stored by the computer, which means IT personnel do not have to worry about desktop computers become congested with student projects and files. Computing environment easier to manage, and expensive computer assets continue to run at 100% capacity.

Deep Freeze's ability to prevent stability degradation ensures that scholastic computer labs are able to provide the same experience over and over again regardless of the users on the desktop-essential requirements to successfully teach the concept of class.

Administrative Machinery

Deep Freeze is not just for student machines, but also can be used on instructor and employee computers. Since Deep Freeze offers flexible options for storing user data, it becomes easy to secure workstations with the total resistance while still allowing users to save their jobs. Instructors and staff enjoy the assurance of knowing their computers will never fail them, and IT personnel exempted from having to deal with tedious helpdesk requests.

Library

Deep Freeze ensures that students and staff enjoy a trouble-free library computing experience. Students can use library computers with the assurance that their session will be free from malicious software and reduction system. IT personnel can rest easy with the knowledge that Deep Freeze makes media computers in the declining immune system and software corruption caused by students accessing online media resources during their research.

System Recovery with Comodo Time Machine

0 komentar

Some time ago someone asked me about a system recovery and security using Comodo Time Machine.
This makes an inspiration for me to write a discussion that contains detailed information on Comodo Time Machine.
Comodo Basically Time Machine is not much different from the workstation, that is to return all the changes that occur on a computer system to a previous time, or to the default setting.
Here's an explanation straight from the official site www.comodo.com

Why use Comodo Time Machine (CTM)?

Comodo Time Machine (CTM) is a powerful system rollback utility that allows users to quickly restore their computers to an earlier point in time. CTM 'snapshots' are a complete record of your entire system (including the registry, critical operating system files and user created documents).

Layered Security
* Schedule automatic snapshots to be taken at regular intervals
* Roll back to the last known working state in the event of virus attacks or crashes
* Take snapshots of your computer before large installations or system maintenance

Software Developers and testers can easily restore test systems to the default configuration after each deployment without the need to manually uninstall each application. Home users can even let the kids run amok on the family PC for an afternoon and be safe in the knowledge that any damage can be instantly undone and all files recovered.

Comodo Time Machine features an intuitive, friendly interface which offers quick and easy access to all functionality in the application. Additionally, it also features a sub-console that can be accessed before Windows starts and a Quick Operation console containing shortcuts to important and commonly executed tasks.

Here are some features of Comodo Time Machine :
* Easy to use - even beginners can quickly create system snapshots with a few mouse clicks
* Provides instant and comprehensive system recovery after virus or spyware infections
* Instantly reclaim your machine after devastating system crashes
* Rollback the changes to ALL your documents - not just changes to system files and the registry
* Boot-up console allows you to rollback even when your system will not boot to Windows
* Test new software and network configurations in the knowledge that you can quickly switch back if problems develop
* Completely remove unwanted software installations without the need to uninstall or clean the registry
* Flexible restore options allow you to mount and browse snapshots to recover individual files or folders
* Right click on any file or folder to synchronize it with a snapshot version
* Schedule regular system snapshots to ensure highly relevant restore points
* Network administrators have another way to quickly fix user or software problems
* Libraries, Internet cafes and other publicly shared networks can schedule a total system restore at the end of each session

You can get this software free on the official site www.comodo.com
